May 19, 2006

HATEBREED have been added to the first edition of the X-Fest, set to take place on June 6 at Rizoupoli stadium in Athens, Greece. Also scheduled to appear are DIO (headliners),IN FLAMES, TRIVIUM, DARKSTAR and INNERWISH.

Concert organizers have also just announced a special offer concerning tickets: Two persons can attend the festival for the price of one ticket! The offer stands only if the ticket is purchased from the Metropolis music stores. Regular ticket price is 55 euros.

X-Fest is sponsored by Metal Temple magazine.

HATEBREED are scheduled to release their new album, "Supremacy", on August 29 via Roadrunner Records. The CD was recorded with longtime producer Zeuss (SHADOWS FALL, TERROR) and mixer Mike Fraser (METALLICA, THE CULT). Says frontman Jamey Jasta of the effort, "We feel that our new material is beyond anything we've ever done as far as ferocity and pure adrenaline goes. It is our most brutal and focused album to date while remaining true to our hardcore roots. We've added more thrash, death and crossover elements and have been able to keep the songs memorable and precise. To me every song on this album is an anthem. Every song gives me chills and makes me feel completely charged."
